Founder Brian Chessmar spent two years of his childhood in Paris living and observing some of the most celebrated works of art. His favorite outing was the Rodin Museum. Influenced by these masterpieces, he decided, at a young age, to work with stone and metal. Although he began his career in stone, he quickly transferred into using metal, allowing him to push the physical limits of balance in his use of geometric, organic and curvilinear forms, which is key in many of his conceptual designs.
